Sunday School classes are offered for children ages 2 and up from 10:10 - 11:10 am. Developmentally appropriate activities and resources are used to help children understand and apply Biblical truths to their daily lives in a nurturing environment. Stop by the welcome center or ask any usher for the locations of the various classes.
KIDS Church ~ We offer KC 1 for children in 1st and 2nd grade and KC 2 for children in 3rd and 4th grade. Both classes experience the word of God in an age appropriate way thru hands on activities and projects during the two services.
WEE Worship ~ During both worship services, children ages 4 – Kindergarten enjoy their own age appropriate activities to worship God in their own way.
Nursery ~ We provide nursery care for children newborn – 2 years old for both worship services.
Toddlers engage in developmentally appropriate activities. Children ages 2 thru 3 years of age are cared for and taught the word of God in ways children of this age can understand.
Kids of the Kingdom choir practices during the Sunday School hour for children ages 4 - 2nd grade. Held at 10:10 - 10:30, Lin Nichols and Angela Schmidt lead our children in learning worship skills to share with the entire congregation on special occasions.
R.O.C.K. in LOGOS ~ Means Raising Our Christian Kids in The Word. This mid-week ministry takes place every Wednesday after school during the school year. Children in grades 1st through 8th engage in a variety of activities that brings Christ to them in the middle of the week. Bible Skills, Worship Skills, Recreation Time and Family Time are all part of the afternoon, teaching children to have fun at the expense of no one, and learning to treat everyone as a Child of God the way Christ did for all of us.
Lil’ SAINTS Preschool, a place where your child belongs and a place where he or she can become all that they were created to be! Lil’ SAINTS Preschool provides a positive Christian foundation for learning by offering a play based developmental program that encourages the cognitive, social/emotional, spiritual and physical development of each child. Children plan and select many of their own activities from a variety of interest centers such as dramatic play, blocks, books, writing, science and mat.h experiences, art, music, games and puzzles. Teachers integrate skills and concepts into the daily curriculum through hands-on learning opportunities and small and large group activities. Music enrichment, storytelling, fieldtrips, and special visitors provide additional learning experiences that promote interest, engagement in learning and further conceptual development.
