We invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a member of First United Methodist Church. We would be happy to provide you with information or answer any questions you may have. Please contact the church office.

PROCESS FOR BECOMING A MEMBER IS AS FOLLOWS:

1. Indicate desire to join the church on the registration pad or notify the office.

2. Attend New Member classes.
Membership classes are offered 3-4 times per year and involve approximately 6 hours of class time. Classes are typically offered Sunday morning or Sunday evening. Classes cover basic Christian beliefs, history of the United Methodist Church, and opportunities for involvement at First United Methodist Church.

3. Recite vows with the congregation on a specially designated Sunday morning service.

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts: and though all its parts
are many they form one body. So it is with Christ." I Corinthians 12:12
