Our Goal
The Mission Team seeks to provide opportunities for members and friends of the congregation to grow in their faith through service to all of God’s people.

Mission Field Opportunities
In recent years we have sponsored several mission trips to Mexico to help build an orphanage, Mississippi to help rebuild flood damaged homes, and Panama and Nicaragua to provide medical care to needy families. Planning for future trips is underway.

For those who need to stay closer to home, we offer One Day Mission Trips. These are local service projects that allow participants to make a difference here at home. Past projects have included maintenance work at Hope House in Ann Arbor and at Ride for Fun, a local children’s riding stable.

Mission Service Projects
We offer many opportunities to assist our ministry partners around the world by providing them with the means to do their work. Some examples include:

• Back to School Back Packs for children in Mexico and Washtenaw County
• Personal Care and Sewing Kits for Haiti and Liberia
• Winter clothing and Christmas dinner for Cass Corridor residents
• Liberia Partner Churches- funding for construction tools and materials for meeting place, a fresh water well, tree farm, clergy salaries, truck...
• Habitat for Humanity – project work and financial support
• P.E.T – Personal Energy Transportation devices – built here and sent overseas to third world countries to provide mobility for those in need
• Change the World annual projects

Fund Raising and Participation
These ministries are made possible through the blessings provided by our congregation and their support of our various fund raising events throughout the year.
