Welcome to The First United Methodist Church of Saline
Below you will find information or links to help you get to know a little bit about us. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
You are invited to worship with us!
At 9:00 am on Sunday, we have a “traditional" service. We sing out of the hymnal with the pipe organ or piano for accompaniment.
At 10:10 am, Sunday School is held. There are classes for children, youth, and adults alike. Learn more.
At 11:15 am, The Connection Point service is “contemporary,” meaning that there is a praise team with piano, guitars and drums. The Connection Point is more informal, and is a little louder.
All Are Welcome!
Come just as you are! Our building is wheelchair accessible. You will find an automatic door at the main entrance. You are welcome to pull a wheelchair alongside a pew in the sanctuary. Assisted listening devices are also available. Just ask an usher.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. We offer open communion, which means that everyone is welcome at the Table of our Lord Jesus Christ. You do not have to be a member of this congregation, or even of a United Methodist Church. We leave it up to parents to decide when the time is right for their children to begin taking communion.
We hope to see you soon!
