
Dr. James E. Tuttle, Senior Pastor
Dr. Tuttle received a Bachelor of Arts from Houghton College, Houghton NY. Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY. Graduate studies in counseling from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Doctor of Ministry from Drew University, Madison, NY. Pastor Jim began his pastoral ministry in New York in 1966 and also served in Kentucky. The majority of his service has taken place in Michigan serving in the following capacities as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor at several United Methodist churches. Dr. Tuttle became Senior Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Saline in July of 1999. Pastor Tuttle has served and is serving in various capacities for the Detroit Conference Board of Ministry and the Ann Arbor District Committee on Ministry. He has been part of the 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 Jurisdictional & General Conference delegations. In addition, he has hosted several educational tours abroad. Pastor Jim and his wife Linda have two grown daughters.
