Our Youth Ministry is all about the INFUSION process. Definition of infuse: to instill a principle or quality in, to introduce. Our desire is to give all students an opportunity to be “infused” with the love and power of Jesus Christ. That’s why we call ourselves INFUSION.

We believe students can experience INFUSION through the five Biblical purposes of fellowship, discipleship, ministry, worship, and evangelism. Each student has the opportunity to experience these five purposes in our ministry and is challenged to make them a part of their own walk with Christ. We want students to meet Jesus and follow Him with their entire lives. That’s why Galatians 5:25 is our INFUSION verse.

“If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” Galatians 5:25

WEEKLY OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH

Junior High Youth Ministry

“MSY” = Middle School Youth (Sundays 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM); Junior High Room
ie: Night of games, discussion, and food with a time to talk about our faith and how to live it out.

“Confirmation” = To Make Firm (Wednesdays 7 PM – 8 PM); Junior High Room
October – May Commitment
ie: Class for youth, offered as they enter 7th grade, to choose to confirm their baptism and their faith in Jesus Christ, becoming members of FUMC.

“Sunday School” = Not your ordinary Sunday School (Sundays 10:10 - 11:10 AM); Junior High Room
ie: Talking about our week while checking out how Scripture applies to our everyday lives and eating some breakfast munchies.

Senior High Youth Ministry

“W3” = Wild Worship Wednesday (Wednesdays 8:00 - 9:30 PM); Youth Basement
ie: Night of Worship, Connecting our hearts to God and one another’s while having a WILDLY fun time.

“LT Groups” = Life Together Groups (Sundays 4:00 - 6:00 PM); Emily's Place
ie: Small Groups of guys or girls talking about their walks with Christ, sharing their lives with one another and eating together.

“Corem Deo” = Face to Face with God (Fridays 6:45 AM); Tim Horton's
ie: Studying the Bible together a few chapters at a time.
