Small Group Options
Small Groups are a great way to grow in faith, practicing accountability and becoming stronger disciples for Christ.
Come and See —A Study in John—ongoing, Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am via Zoom or in-person at 11 am in Christler Hall
Pastor Tom leads this Bible study from the gospel of John. Learn from Jesus—the greatest story teller ever, and His wonderful lessons on life and the kingdom of God. This class is open to anyone anytime. Contact the church office at 734.429.4730 to receive the weekly Zoom log in invitation or to register for in-person attendance.
WISE AM (Women in Study & Encouragement)—Tuesdays from 9:30—11:30 am
What went wrong? Why did God let this happen? Reality often ends up so very far from the life we long for. Bible teacher and author Lysa TerKeurst deeply understands daily disappointments and life-altering loss. In It's Not Supposed to Be This Way, Lysa offers a safe place to share your disappointments, fresh biblical insight to get you through painful situations, and life-giving perspectives for living in between Eden and eternity. Contact Anne Gillingham for more information, 734.717.3264.
WISE PM (Women in Study & Encouragement) – Wednesdays at 7:00 pm
Andy Stanley is one of the most compelling voices of this generation. Join us in May, 2020 for our study and discussion of his book, The Grace of God: The Gift We Don't Deserve. The Love We Can't Believe. Andy describes the beauty and the truth of grace. We don't deserve it. We Can't earn it. It can't be qualified. But God gives it to us anyway because He loves us unconditionally.
Prayer Groups - Monday 6:30 pm, Thursday 9:30 am
Come join us in prayer on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm or Thursday morning at 9:30 am in the Oasis Room. All are welcome as we pray for this congregation, His church and more. If you have any questions or have a prayer request, please call the church office at 734.429.4730.
Extreme Makeover - A four week study in James, Tuesdays 7 pm via Zoom (no class 9/7)
True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus—the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know suffering, who've faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God. (September 1,15, 22, and 29 only.) Led by Pastor Tom. Call or email the church office to let us know if you’d like a Zoom invitation.
Ironmen - Men's Fellowship, last Thursday of the month 7am
Monthly men's fellowship and Bible study. All men of the church are invited to attend. Facilitator: Pastor Tom. "As iron shapens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
