What to Expect

You will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building you can expect…

A Warm Greeting

A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. Sunday morning greeters make all who enter our doors feel welcome. They can direct you to the sanctuary or the Welcome Center where there is information regarding Sunday School for all ages. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. If the greeter doesn’t know the answer, he or she will certainly know where to find it. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable.

Hot Coffee

There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee (tea, or hot chocolate) to warm you up. Join us between services in Christler Hall for a refreshment and good fellowship.

God’s house does not have a dress code. Worshipers wear everything from khakis to dresses or suits during the traditional services. The contemporary service provides a “come as you are” casual atmosphere for worship. Feel free to wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable.

Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?”. Expect for people to reach out to you in love.

You will be greeted again as you enter the sanctuary. An usher will provide an Order of Worship. You may have a seat on the main floor or in the balcony. During the service, a Friendship Pad is passed for all worshipers to sign. Please take a moment to sign it so church members can greet you after the service and so we may send a welcome note during the following week. You will hear an announcement about our Welcome Center and an invitation to receive a special gift for first-time visitors. We invite you to take that invitation seriously and stop by to pick up your gift.

During the school year we offer a traditional service at 9 am and a contemporary service at 11:15 am. During the summer months, there is a very casual Right Start service at 8:04 am which includes a light breakfast for those who want to get an early start to their day, and a blended worship service at 9:30 am.

Have questions? Need information? The Welcome Center is located just outside the sanctuary doors and is a great resource for our members and guests alike. Staffed by a friendly and knowledgeable church member, this is the place to find brochures about Methodism or information about church programs and activities.

Our main parking lot is at the back of the building off Woodland Drive.  A limited number of handicap parking spaces are located near the main entrance. You are welcome to drop off passengers under the portico especially during inclement weather.
